About Me

Exploring my own family history is what truly sparked my passion for ancestral storytelling. Discovering how my life was shaped by immigrants who set out on a new path in a new world gave me a deeper sense of context and belonging. The journey they took into the unknown deserves to be remembered, and I believe everyone can benefit from knowing this about their own story.

My career began in hospitality, where I spent many years in hotel sales and luxury travel. Those experiences taught me the art of creating meaningful journeys and the importance of the details that make them special. Over time, I found myself drawn more and more into the stories behind the journeys — the family connections, the ancestral places, the threads that tie us to the past.

As a longtime member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the National Genealogical Society, I’ve dedicated myself to uncovering family histories, tracing ancestral connections, and weaving research into narratives that feel alive. Storytelling is my passion in all its forms — transforming records, places, and memories into journeys that are both deeply personal and unforgettable.

These days, I split my time between San Francisco and Munich, a life that reflects both my love of travel and my curiosity for the world. When I’m not researching or designing itineraries, you’ll probably find me enjoying the arts, wandering through history, or out on long walks with my dog, Doug.
